Trout
Non-profit organization with mission to protect and restore native
wild fish and the ecosystems that sustain them. They offer the Stream
Adventures and Salmon Watch® education programs to Oregon state
school students in their classrooms and also have a public outreach
program explaining things such as statewide watershed health, and
more.
Rogue
Fly Fishers
With over 200 members, there is a membership place for all levels
of experience and interest. They are involved with conservation
projects that will enhance water quality, among other things. The
members share knowledge with each other on fly-fishing, casting,
rod building, fly-tying, and other activities. They also work with
the community, Oregon Fish and Wildlife Department, and the Bureau
of Land Management, and much more.
Rainland
Fly Casters
This organization participates in conservation activities, Steelhead
count and Steelhead Redd count, fish habitat enhancement. Their
web site includes free flytying for various flys. There is also
a youth program to promote fly fishing where casting lessons and
fly tying are given during the summer months.
